谢世儒医生是一位成就斐然的矫形骨科医生,拥有丰富的经验和专业才识。品学兼优的他曾经荣获崇高的新加坡总统奖学金而后在享誉盛名的新加坡国立大学攻读医学学位,并在1995年以院长荣誉奖得主的殊荣毕业。

Dr Chia Shi-Lu’s passion for excellence and continuous learning led him to pursue further specialisation; and he achieved Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons (Edinburgh) in General Surgery in 2000, followed by his FRCS in Orthopaedics & Traumatology in 2003. 

During his career, he embarked on research and clinical fellowships between 2001 and 2007, focusing on lower limb and cartilage restoration surgery. He trained at renowned centres in Japan, the UK, and the USA, solidifying his expertise in these specialised areas.

完成了在布里格姆妇女医院和哈佛大学医学院的关节置换研究生课程后,谢世儒医生于2007年返回新加坡,重新加入新加坡中央医院骨科部门的成人骨科重建服务项目。他目前担任该医院的客座顾问,与医院保持着密切联系。

His commitment to advancing knowledge and contributing to the field is evident through his academic pursuits. Supported by the Lee Kuan Yew Postgraduate Scholarship, he obtained his PhD in Cartilage Biology from Imperial College, UK in 2009. He has published extensively and authored several book chapters.

Dr Chia Shi-Lu’s expertise is highly sought after, as he has delivered numerous talks and conducted courses both regionally and internationally. He is also actively involved in teaching at esteemed institutions such as the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, Duke-NUS Graduate Medical School, and Nanyang Technological University.
